Hello and welcome to my little corner of the internet.

My name is Matt but I also go by the handle Surreal Beliefs or Surrealbeliefs to make it a tad simpler. I'm a commentator on Youtube who plays a lot of those Total War games you may have seen. I mean I play a lot of it. I juxtapose humor, tactics and strategy into one as I play not only Total War but games by Paradox Interactive like Mount & Blade or even Crusader Kings II.

I'm a rabid fan of history in general and particularly find ancient and medieval cultures fascinating. Even beyond that, I enjoy learning about topics that would be within the context of political science. That said, I also enjoy all manners of music and movies. If you bring up anything in these topics, I'll do my best to contribute and if I don't know about it, I'll want to read up on it!
